About Evidentia
Logic is not usually the first thing people think of when it comes to feeling better. But there is something calming about clarity - about finally having a name for the thing that felt wrong, or understanding why a conversation kept going in circles.
This is a small project about reasoning. Fallacies, principles, patterns of thought. The kind of thing that used to live in philosophy departments but belongs, I think, to everyone.
If you are curious, feel free to look around. There are collections of fallacies to browse, some principles that pair with them, and a search if you are looking for something specific. None of it is finished. Some parts are more polished than others.
I am building this because I find it useful myself - having names for patterns makes them easier to notice, and noticing them is often enough. Not to win arguments, but just to see a little more clearly.
There is more I hope to build eventually. Interactive things, maybe. Different ways of exploring the material. But for now, this is what exists.
If you want to see how this is being made, the devlog has some notes on the process. And if you are wondering whether philosophy is worth your time, I have collected some conversations that helped me.
